What are we looking for?
Purpose of Role
To manage the repair & maintenance of the building and care for the facilities within it
To manage on a day to day basis, the contractors working on the renovation of the building
To oversee the facilities and cleaning team
To ensure health and safety standards are met and the property is fully compliant.
To act as a key holder and oversee security, energy and building services
To manage day-to-day access of staff, office tenants, plus internal and external hires and deliveries.
Where required, help to manage bookings and arrange room set ups across the building.
Responsibilities
Repair and Maintenance
Work with senior team to develop renovation and repair strategy for the interior and exterior of the building
To act as a key point of contact for trades, deliveries and contractors
To support physically with the renovation and repair of the building
To handle day to day repairs and maintenance
To oversee the facilities and cleaning team
To oversee the care, repair and maintenance of the garden and exterior spaces included in the Kingswood Arts lease
H&S and Compliance
To ensure compliance with health and safety including fire safety across the building
To maintain knowledge of these company obligations and contract external support when required
To ensure staff, tenants and hires adhere to health and safety policy
Security, Energy & Building Services
To act as a keyholder and hold responsibility for managing access and security among internal and external uses of the building.
To identify and improve/make recommendations on any security concerns.
To oversee the implementation and maintenance of services such as WIFI, Access Control, CCTV, Pest Control etc
To oversee energy contracts and constantly look for ways to improve efficiency and sustainability throughout the building
Tenants and Hires
To ensure that the facilities, furniture, and building is kept in good repair, ready to be used by tenants and hires
Supporting front of house manager with room set ups, events and moving of equipment where required
Providing access to the building and supervising tenants and hires where necessary
Taking in of deliveries and looking after visitors when required
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Experience working in a multi purpose building
Acted as a keyholder in a previous position
At least some basic skills in maintenance and repair of buildings
Experience working with contractors and a good knowledge of different trades and their functions.
Experience managing people or working as a line manager
Desired
Decorating and DIY experience
Experience on building sites or building projects
Experience working in an old or listed building
Project Management experience
Carries trade experience such as joinery, electrician, plumbing etc
Capabilities and Characteristics
It's essential that this person is reliable, motivated and a hard worker.
The role will require someone who understands how buildings work and can achieve things efficiently and promptly whilst always considering health and safety and compliance as a top priority.
The person should be confident with working alongside trades and contractors and happy to support DIY and decorating where required.
Must be able to judge when it would be efficient to complete a task without a contractor, and accordingly be willing to take on daily tasks such as painting, changing light bulbs, changing locks etc.
They must also be personable, friendly and approachable so as to ensure office tenants and external hires are well looked after and supported.

£32,250 per annum

Working Conditions
On site, mainly reflecting normal office hours but some evening and weekend work will be necessary.
Physical Requirements
This role will require significant physical tasks on a daily basis including moving equipment and furniture, painting and decoration and general building and repair.

What are we looking for?
Purpose of Role
The purpose of this role is to design, manage and execute all aspects of fundraising for Kingswood Arts. Whilst much of our income is earned, in order to deliver the best possible outcomes for our community, and to safeguard our beautiful listed building, we must also fundraise for a significant portion of our income.
This person will therefore be responsible for a wide reaching fundraising strategy covering Grants, Trusts and Donations, Individual Giving and Corporate Giving.
You will work closely with the Kingswood Arts General Manager, Directors and consultants. You will also be a key representative of the organisation, developing and maintaining links with key stakeholders in the community.
Responsibilities
To develop a broad fundraising strategy in consultation with the General Manager and our fundraising consultants
To identify grant-making bodies that meet our requirements
To write and submit funding applications to target funders
To develop a membership/patron system for individual giving
To work with the events team in design and implementation of fundraising events and activities
To identify and build links with corporate organisations for fundraising purposes
To work with finance teams to manage budgets and reporting
Help to plan and execute fundraising events such as Galas and auctions
To work with the senior and Building and facilities team on large scale capital projects and develop fundraising strategy for them
To act as a key representative of the organisation in the community, developing links with key stakeholders and helping to conduct community consultation.
To lead on monitoring and evaluation & reporting for all funded projects
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Experience in a similar role
Proven track record of successful funding applications
Experience working in individual & corporate giving
Experience managing budgets and meeting targets and deadlines
Desired
Experience working in the arts and cultural sector
Experience organising events
Experience working on large scale capital projects
Existing links with organisations or high value individuals who support artistic organisations
Capabilities and Characteristics
For this role we require someone with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You must be able to present an extremely strong case for our organisation to be the one that grant making bodies, individuals and corporate organisations should fund in an extremely competitive sector.
Attention to detail as well as good oversight of broad strategy are both really important, and the ideal candidate will be able to work well with other members of the senior team to design and implement the strategy.
We anticipate that individual giving and corporate fundraising can make up a significant part of our fundraising targets so the ideal candidate must be friendly, professional and confident when dealing with potential high wealth individuals. We are also looking for someone who is motivated and willing to get out there and meet the beneficiaries and really get to grips with the community that we are here to support.
We want a genuine team player who will become a core part of our team! Fundraising should be directly connected to the activities happen on the ground and we would love to attract applicants who will be motivated and interested in the day to day activities and getting to know the beneficiaries we are fundraising for.
What can you expect from the role?
Salary
£35,000 - 40 000 pro rata depending on experience + bonuses based on performance
This is a full time role but we are open to a part time position for the right candidate

Home working by agreement is acceptable, however regular attendance at the site for events and meetings will be necessary.
